IIT-JAM, acronym form of Indian Institute of Technology – Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.The Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) is an all India admission test conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bangalore. It is conducted for admission into Master of Science (M.Sc.) and other post-graduate science programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology, Indian Institute of Science, and other institutes. The seven IITs and IISC conduct the exam on a rotational basis.
For JAM IIT, the questions are usually from graduation, but few tricky questions usually come from post-graduation level. Also graduation level syllabus is different from state to state. The new pattern of JAM requires proper guidance and practice to crack, especially the MSQs and NAT questions.
